Hello –
We had a fabulous fifth annual Singalong for Saints and Sinners last night at St. Paul’s. It was filled with great music, good humor, fantastic singing from the congregation and a fun reception afterwards. Thank you to Mike Struck for the music and to Pat and Peggy for putting on a great reception. And welcome to those of you who shared your emails with us yesterday. I hope this email blast plants some seeds.
Here’s what’s coming up:
• Christmas Services are 5pm on Christmas Eve and 10am on Christmas Morning followed by a Potluck Feast hosted by Chloe and me. We provide a ham. Email me at c.h.mrtn@gmail.com if you’d like to join us.
• The Epiphany Pageant is January 4th. Children and Youth are invite to come at 9am that Sunday to get a costume and do a quick rehearsal before the presentation at 10am worship.
• The weekend of January 10th and 11th offers three opportunities to learn. I start a six week Practice Group on Saturday at 8:45am where I will, no joke, start teaching on a sentence that gives the meaning of life! The next day, Sunday School begins for kids during the 10am worship and Erin and I team teach a Confirmation class, aiming for an affirmation of faith at Grace Cathedral on May 2nd, starting at 11:30am.
Welcome to St. Paul’s, where our mission is following Jesus together in worship, prayer and service.
Blessings,
Christopher
