As advertised…
1. O Antiphons begin this week. These ancient texts are sung each week in the six weeks leading up to Christmas, as a way to prepare our hearts.
2. Christmas Cards for Death Row. This Sunday afternoon is our annual Christmas Card writing party for condemned inmates. We provide cards, stamps, mailing labels, food and music. You just need to come and write some simple cards. It will be 3pm to 6pm in Duncan Hall.
3. Wednesday Bible Study is canceled this week as I will be with my Clergy Support Group.
4. The Angel Tree will be up next Sunday in the Narthex. Please grab a card with one of the fifty requests for Christmas gifts from students at our De Colores Head Start Preschool. On December 17th we will have an event with music and family photos to hand out the gifts.
5. The Street Chaplaincy Dinner will be December 2nd at First Presbyterian starting at 4pm. Join me and folks from Nativity as we aim to start our own regular evening next year of serving dinner to hungry folks in San Rafael.
