Hello –
Three things:
1. At tomorrow’s 10am Bible Study we will begin to wrap our minds and hearts around one of the three most important events in the Old Testament, the Babylonian Captivity. We’re going to be reading both portions of the histories and six of the minor prophets. At least one new person will be joining us. You are welcome too.
2. This Sunday, in honor of the feast of All Saints’, I will be reading the Necrology. If you haven’t already sent me the names of loved ones who have died since last year’s All Saints’ celebration, please do send them to me at c.h.mrtn@gmail.com.
3. The post-election prayer service will be at 5pm on Wednesday, November 6th at Nativity. It will consist of centered silence followed by an evening service out of the Book of Common Prayer. Please join me, other folks from St. Paul’s, and our brothers and sisters at Nativity for this grounding way of gathering in these uncertain times.
Blessings,
Christopher
