Next Sunday, October 13th, we are going to be serving one of the best foods in Marin County: the breakfast burritos from Picante.
Next Sunday is our Consecration Sunday, the celebration of generosity that serves as our Stewardship Sunday. If you haven’t already sent in a card indicating you will be coming, will you please email me now at c.h.mrtn@gmail.com and let me know if we should get you a breakfast burrito for the lunch right after the worship service? Thank you!
Also, I had planed a short trip for early next week but I have canceled that trip. This means our Wednesday morning Bible study (where we are reading the book of Jonah) will be meeting. If you’d like to check it out, please join us in Duncan Hall at 10am.
Finally, it’s never too late to check out the Transcending Contempt Practice Group. We meet at 9am on Saturdays in Duncan Hall. Tomorrow morning I’ll be teaching a daily exercise to help us not be overly influenced by “that monstrous abstraction, the public” where “everyone has opinions but no one owns them.” (Quotes are from Kierkegaard.)
