5 Things Over 2 Weekends
Hello –
Our season filled with important events continues. This last weekend we had the funeral of Roger, with a service of great dignity and rich emotion. We had the Stop Hunger Now project with 75 people from ages 4 to 94 from three parishes who assembled 10,000 meals in an hour and ten minutes. It was fabulous.
Here are five more things over the next two weekends:
1. Saturday the 28th is the funeral of Rainie at 11am. She was beautiful, wry and generous, and a friend to many.
2. Sunday the 29th at 11:30am I teach the second class of Basic Christianity which is a stand-alone class on the mystery of the cross. I present four different Biblical metaphors and then open things up for conversation.
3. Sunday the 29th from 4pm to 6pm is an Open House at our home in San Anselmo. This is always a lot of fun. Among the things we’ll be serving will be a spiced up version of the meals we packed last Sunday at Stop Hunger Now.
4. Saturday the 4th at 11am is the funeral of Paul. He was a veteran of World War Two who was strong, gentle and kind, and he deeply loved St. Paul’s.
5. Sunday the 5th at 11:15 is our Annual Meeting. Come learn about the Hardin Courtyard, which will be in pavers and will be built this spring.
We are doing such good work together right now. It’s a privilege to serve you.
Blessings,
Christopher
