Community

Welcome to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, a sacred space for your busy life.
We are located in the heart of downtown San Rafael in Marin County and are blessed with one of the most beautiful sacred spaces in the Bay Area. We are a community of people of all ages and backgrounds. Together, we explore who Jesus is for us and find ways to make positive differences in the world.

New to St. Paul’s?
Based in beautiful San Rafael, California, St. Paul’s is a fun, inclusive and diverse community that welcomes everyone in exploring their spirituality, following Jesus and fostering a deeper connection to God. Whether it is your first time visiting a church or you are simply new to St. Paul’s, we want to ensure your visit is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

Spiritual or Religious?
If you consider yourself spiritual but not religious, you’re not alone. At St. Paul’s, you’ll meet many like-minded people who have found a safe and inclusive environment where the doors are open to explore your spirituality with an inviting and welcoming community.

Our Mission:  To follow Jesus together in worship, prayer and service.

Finding Your Unique Spiritual Path
St. Paul’s offers a supportive and welcoming community that fosters a spiritual connection to Jesus through a combination of worship, prayer and service.

Our spirituality is grounded in the life and teachings of Jesus, but we believe everyone explores and develops their connection to God in a unique way. Some may connect through weekly worship, in frequent prayer or through servicing their community. Some may choose deep involvement in one area, or a little of each.

At St. Paul’s, we therefore encourage you to utilize our community to find the spiritual path that best suits you. From our weekly Sunday service to volunteering to prayer support, we offer a multitude of rewarding and engaging opportunities to deepen your spirituality, serve others and grow closer to God.
