Hello –
The richest week of the church year starts in just ten days. Below is a run down of the major events into early April.
But first, two service announcements. One, you’re invited to stay after church this Sunday and make Palm Crosses for Palm Sunday. Two, please start bringing in your used books for the St. Anne’s Book Sale in early May.
Now, here’s the schedule of major events:
3/21 Sat. Part Two of Building Your Spiritual Core. This time, I lead a two hour, five part reflection where I piece together a timeline and a map of how we got to this exceedingly secular place. I believe it will have a lot of explanatory power for while you feel the way you do and a great way forward. 9am to 11am
3/28 Sat. Part Three of Building Your Spiritual Core. This will be a two hour retreat with mediations and time for quite reflections. It’s all based on my book, particularly the three higher stages of growth in humility, love and strength. 9am to 11am.
3/29 Sun. Palm Sunday. We remember Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem. Services at 8am and 10am.
4/2 Th. Maundy Thursday. We remember the Last Supper. Service is at 7:30pm preceded by a dinner at 6pm hosted by Grace Marin in Duncan Hall.
4/3 Fri. Good Friday. We remember that Jesus died on the cross. Service is at noon.
4/4 Sat. Easter Vigil. We remember all of salvation history and then erupt with joy and light. The most important service of the year. 7:30pm.
4/5 Sun. Easter Morning. We remember that Jesus rose from the dead. Services at 8am and 10am.
